The Great Outdoors and Staying Safe

Our primary goal of this website is to share our journeys with you and to encourage you to go out and explore your world. Nature is beautiful, but it can also be dangerous. We want you to stay safe!

While exploring the wilderness, always bring along the ten essentials, tell someone where you are going, and never travel alone. Following these three standard rules will go a long way to keeping you safe.

Additionally, make sure your body is in the right condition for the activity you will be doing. We often rate trail difficulty in our posts. However, these ratings are only our best guess for the average hiker. We will not be held responsible for injuries you may incur.

Affiliate Links & Gear Reviews

We may occasionally include affiliate links within our posts, throughout our website, or on our social media channels. These affiliate links might provide us with a small monetary compensation if you chose to make a purchase through them. These links will never increase the price you pay for the advertised product or service, and in some cases, they may even lower the price you pay.

We occasionally review clothing, gear, and more. In exchange for our reviews, we may have received the product for free, or at a discounted price, in consideration of our honest thoughts.
