Fall is in full swing here in the Pacific Northwest. The leaves are falling, the temperature is dropping, and Halloween is near. It’s time to gear up for cooler, damper weather. We, like many of you, appreciate comfortable, technical apparel that is also stylish. Whether cozying up by a campfire or visiting your local pumpkin patch, now’s a great time to select some new items to see you through the season. We’ve teamed up with DICK’S Sporting Goods to show you this year’s new coats, footwear, and other fall/winter apparel to keep you bundled up and ready for anything.

Scarves, mittens, and hats are a great way to express your personality in the cold weather.

We patronize a local farm each October to select pumpkins, peruse the squash and gourd assortments and just enjoy a casual outdoor activity. This year was no different, and social distancing was easy to achieve in this sort of setting. We meandered the rows of pumpkins, our eyes roving over each fruit seeking out the perfect ones to take home. My SOREL Women's Out N About Felt Plus Waterproof Winter Boots were both stylish and practical as the pumpkin patches tend to be wet and muddy. Brandon wore his Columbia Men's Hart Mountain 1/2 Zip Pullover and Columbia Men's Tipton Peak Insulated Jacket in a beautiful stand-out color called Flame. Pumpkins in tow, we were on to our next adventure!

We love to cabin camp in our state parks. While not luxurious, we can’t really say we’re roughing it either. Sitting around the glow of a campfire, cozy and warm, while sipping hot chocolate and nibbling treats are activities we look forward to and greatly enjoy. We took such a trip this week to Steamboat Rock State Park. The temperatures were 40’s and below, but we were prepared and comfortable head to toe. Not only were we all set with apparel, but we had some nice accessories like our YETI 14 oz. Rambler Mugs and Coghlan's Cast Iron Double Camp Cooker.

Here we are enjoying the warmth of the fire bundled up in Carhartt Midweight Logo Graphic Hooded Sweatshirt and Columbia Jacket. I especially love the softness of the Patagonia Los Gatos 1/4 Zip Fleece Pullover. We’re both wearing Cozy Cabin socks, which are extraordinarily comfortable and paired perfectly with the DSG Women's Powder 200g Winter Boots I’m wearing. DSG is one of Dick’s private label brands with selections for men, women, and youth in sizes XXS to XXL. 1% of DSG purchases give back to The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation to support youth sports.

Being adequately outfitted keeps you ready for any adventure, no matter the elements. Layering is everything! Wearing our Columbia jackets to begin our hike in Northrup Canyon gave us the extra layer we needed until the temperatures rose. A Patagonia Women's Better Sweater 1/4 Zip Pullover and Columbia Women's Winter Blur II Beanie were just the tickets after removing my jacket to keep me comfortable the remainder of the hike. Brandon only needed his Columbia Men's Flare Gun Stretch Flannel, a t-shirt, and hat after stowing his jacket in his pack.

DICK’S offers a great selection of Fall Clothing. We ended up purchasing pieces from Patagonia, Columbia, DSG, The North Face, Carhartt, and YETI to suit our needs and styles.

No matter your style, DICK’s offers quality brands for the whole family, including clothing, camping gear, and other outdoor accessories.
